YouTube Video downloading

Hi,

I've used VLC Media Player to download YT videos but that now just downloads the audio to a video not the video.

Is there a fix for this in VLC?

I'm on W10 Pro and VLC 3.0.11

This is playing fine for me with VLC 3.0.12 and this updated Youtube.lua script:

That interface in the video looks surprisingly like an open source video editor called Shotcut: https://shotcutapp.com/

Maybe the video was created in shotcut but it's a video created to teach DaVinci Resolve.

That would be odd - teaching about a different video editor that the one you create a video to teach.

This code insertion looks complicated. I'll give it a try.

Where do I find the "old" lua code on my hard drive?

Will it simply be in C:\Programs 86x\VLC\???????

Once the old one is deleted I then copy the 600+ lines of code for the new lua into C:\Programs 86x\VLC\???????
