Can't convert audio file without playing back?

Postby bwp123 » 21 Feb 2021 00:19

I thought I knew how to do this, but I can't find the solution. Converting audio (.m4a) files to standard non-Apple file formats (.wav in this case) on Windows10; VLC plays the music file all the way through. It used to run the original file through quickly, producing the output desired. Thinking there is a simple setting that changed? Apologies for basic question. Please help if you can; thanks in advance.

Media > Convert/Save > ... [ ] Display the output << disabled
