When I play some videos, the videos are stopping after a few minutes with a "direct3d11 error: SetThumbNailClip failed: 0x800706f4" error. The video link is: http://kmx.kolpax.de:80/tommy/YPZqsm6ad ... hlscat.com.

To help you, we need messages, to completely understand what your problems is.
To fix this, please be sure before you start the playback to:

Open: Tools -> Messages.
Set Verbosity to 2
Start playback to reproduce your issue
Save text in a file or copy into clipboard
Then paste the full resulting log here between [code]and[/code] (or use Pastebin.com if it's too long)

Also don't forget to name your Operating System and provide the VLC media player version.

This time it gives this error:

For another stream, like http://kmx.kolpax.de:80/tommy/YPZqsm6ad ... hlscat.com, the stream has no audio after 30 seconds of playback. Log: https://pastebin.com/ycX15GsH
Both streams work fine in ffmpeg.
