Video Playback Constant Stutter

I am playing some video files which constantly keep stuttering throughout the length regardless of the app being in windowed mode or full-screen mode, whilst the same files run smoothly in the Microsoft Movies & TV app.

What is your hardware ?

Try another video output module:
http://wiki.videolan.org/WindowsFAQ-2.0 ... _output.3F

You can try with and without hardware acceleration.
You can also try to enable or disable some video options such as Overlay and/or Hardware YUV -> RGB conversions.

If it doesn't help then open Tools -> Messages (set Verbosity to 2) before you start the playback, and then paste the full resulting log here or on Pastebin.com if it's too long.

Also upload your original problematic file to Zippyshare.com (200 MB max) or to WeTransfer.com and then post the link to the file here.

If needed cut it with DGsplit and read here about how to do it:
https://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.ph ... 35#p193335
100 MB max should be enough.

So, before I lay down all the links, I gotta say that I really thought the video was stuttering, but it turns out that was just an illusion played by my mind, as i muted the audio and found video to be fine. It is actually only the audio that is stuttering.

nonetheless, i tried your solutions

p.s. dgsplit did cut the file, but it wasnt playable anymore, so i uploaded the original instead.

Does it play any better if you remove/rename the .SRT subtitles file ?
