The Command line documentation can be found here: https://wiki.videolan.org/Documentation:Command_line/

Is that what you were looking for?

Why (the use case)? You can set original x264 options in the last input field there: x264 advanced options [{profile=high,level=4.1,preset=slow,rc=abr,bitrate=4000}]. Similarly in a transcoding profile within converting/streaming wizard https://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.ph ... 09#p502853

[{profile=high,level=4.1,preset=slow,rc=abr,bitrate=4000}]

profile, level and preset are mandatory options in this field?

No. You can check their default values in the same preferences section.

have you tried this

sliced-threads: enables slice-based threading. This threading method produces lower quality results than the default method both compression and efficiency-wise, but adds no encoding latency.
