VLC Black End Screen

Postby hjkaye@gmail.com » 09 Jun 2020 20:44

Is there any way to disable VLC Player from jumping to a black screen at the end of a video? I have a video with some text information at the end which I would like to leave on the screen at end of the video, instead of jumping to a completely black screen.

Short of pausing manually, I can't find an option to just stop at the last frame and wait for input. Currently VLC 3.0.10 Windows 10.

TIA! Help?

Tools ---> Preferences and checkmark "All" at the bottom to open the Advanced menu options. Click Playlist in the left hand pane and then checkmark "Play and Pause" in the right hand panel. Click Save, exit and then restart vlc.
