i'm trying VLS because it's one of the few players with a library, but settings are a bit cunfusing.
i didn't understand how to:
-use middle mouse button to play/pause
-see playlist/library in fullscreen mode
-move VLC window from any point i drag and not only from borders
-do not resize window when starting new video.

Hi,

-use middle mouse button to play/pause

You can't do it directly, though you may try this extension (no warranty) https://github.com/nurupo/vlc-pause-click-plugin

-see playlist/library in fullscreen mode

view > docked playlist, then maximize the window?

-move VLC window from any point i drag and not only from borders

you can't

-do not resize window when starting new video.

tool > preferences > Interface > uncheck Resize interface to video size

5) how do i disable video preview in library? because ( i suppose that) if it's active i don't switch to full video window when i start a new file.

6) i keep losing the setting "always adapt to window"
