View VLC video with three buttons on top right corner

A month or so ago, I must have clicked on something. Now, when I play videos, I get something like fullscreen. I still see the menu in the top left corner, but I no longer see the red X and minimize buttons on the top right corner. I am used to double clicking to give me fullscreen when I want it, but I want to be able to view videos by default, in the "not maximized" view setting with those button controls in the top right corner. What options do I need to select? I installed the latest update, but then right before installing, I chose the option of using current settings, which probably wasn't the right thing to do. :)

Thank you, that was it. I was hoping it was something simple. I've been using this program for years.
