Hi, I new to the forum and the bug tracking system... I'm curious if there has been any updates on this ticket, the bug tracker says been open 16 months and doesn't appear to have been any work done yet. Is there anywhere else updates are reported?

Can you provide the link to the bug please. A search at trac.videolan.org for that number results in "No tickets found".
