Need to delete download?

I just got the notice of an available update and completed the download. The first time, I hit cancel rather than install after download was complete, to leave the movie playing. But while it was playing, I looked for the download of the update so that I could run it later and couldn't find it. So I ran update again, this time allowing it to install. Having done so, I wonder if I do indeed still have the update exe on my computer, in which case I'd like to delete it to clean house. I looked in Downloads and App Data/Local/Temp, but neither has it. Suggestions? Thanks.

Have you tried uninstalling and installing?

I haven't. I don't know if uninstalling would remove all files in all folders, including Windows rather than the program's own folders. (As you can see, I looked for an update executable in precisely that.) But since the update went fine and the program works, I figured anyhow that it'd be more straightforward just to ask where the download might have landed, no?
