VLC is unable to open the MRL file <file path>

Hi everyone,

I've just created my account here for this because it's quite frustrating. I've been trying to open some playlists these past few days and I always get the same error message.

"Your input can't be opened:
VLC is unable to open the MRL 'file:///C:/Nahuel%20Mart%C3%ADnez/M%C3%BAsica%20Y%20Videos/%EF%BB%BF'. Check the log for details."

This wasn't there before. I would normally be able to open this same playlist without any issues. I even created it on VLC to begin with.

This is a local path, not an online URL. The file is not in an external drive, it's in the system drive, and I don't have any external drives connected to the computer. A playlist in that same folder works just fine. I've just updated VLC, and I've also checked the security permissions for the file.

The path does exist. It's where the playlist is. I literally copied it from the log and put it on the file explorer and it works. Idk what's going on.

Anybody got some ideas?

I get the same. I was using http://livego.club:8080/get.php?username=rugbyplayer1@mac.com&password=nb9H2tmM3g&type=m3u&output=ts , pasting it into the URL box under Open Network and it worked perfectly for several weeks watching TV stations from all over, but then downloaded the latest version and it doesn't work anymore. It also seems to shorten the MRL, starting it at "get.php..." but I don't remember if it did this before. I cannot remember how I generated that MRL!! I am NOT very computer savvy, and the wikis haven't helped me.
