Whased out colors on HDR contents.

Hi all,
I have a non HDR monitor and HDR contents are completely ufgly on VLC because of washed out colors.

It looks well in windows media player.

How can I fix this in VLC?

Hi, can you share the file ? can you provide the logs ? What is your VLC version ?
To help you, we need messages, to completely understand what your problems is.
To fix this, please be sure before you start the playback to:
  1. Open: Tools -> Messages.
  2. Set Verbosity to 2
  3. Start playback to reproduce your issue
  4. Save text in a file or copy into clipboard
  5. Then paste the full resulting log here between [​code]and[​/code] (or use Pastebin.com if it's too long)
Also don't forget to name your Operating System and provide the VLC media player version.

VLC 3.0.7.1
it happen with every X265 or X264 HDR content.

In any case colors are generally better on Windows Media Player. HDR contents colors are completely washed out in VLC.

there's something i don't understand.Hdr and Color work perfect with Vlc installed on Windows Store.But the other players are not working with.Icluded Vlc desktop version.everything is perfect with store Vlc and default "movies" apps.but the store vlc,there is no subtitle options.Strange.I just need subtitle options store vlc please can u do that?because everything is perfect for me.except subtitles.
