Webcams using chroma YUY2 while streaming don’t work on any version of VLC from 3+.
VLC version 2.2.8 can still accomplish this, as well as a chroma of MJPG which seems to be becoming legacy in favor of YUY2.
Is there some sort of specific encoding or dshow:// settings needed in order to stream a YUY2 webcam?
Is this a known bug that’s fixable?
Webcam + YUY2 + Streaming == Broken
