Hi!

Volume control isn't responsive/is laggy, when controlling the volume via mouse wheel or up/down arrows.

x) Windows 10 v1903 (Build 18362.175), latest updates
x) VLC v3.0.7.1
x) HP EliteBook 840 G5

This was fixed in a previous version, but has been re-introduced in the latest version.

If you need any additional info, please let me know.

Cheers,
naxa

The bug was always there, as it's imposed by Microsoft.

To avoid it:
  • Leave (or reset) the Audio output module to Automatic.
  • Keep the volume at or below 100%. If you need more, use your speakers' amp.

Ah, I see.

Output was on Automatic and I never went above 100%. So idk..

Could be a driver issue, but sounds odd.

Same here on Standard PC with Mouse Wheel. Nothing of the mentioned solutions work.

Last working fine @ VLC 2.x

Waiting since April 2018 for a fix...
