Updated my VLC player and it glitched out
Got a notice to update my VLC player and when I did it turned my normal screen into a green screen where it was stretched out and the top half ended up popping up on the bottom. Uninstalling and reinstalling did nothing. Any idea on what happened?

I haven't tested setting directX instead of "auto" as suggested above. But it seems to be a workaround instead of a "fix". IMHO HW acceleration "auto" should work in 3.0.7, as it did in 3.0.6.
