Playing a ProRes file in VLC issue

Hello!
I've encountered a new problem with VLC (I think it was in the last update) where I'm unable to play a ProRes444 file. I used to be able to play this formatwith the player but now all I get is a bunch of flashing. The audio plays fine. Any one else having this issue?
I'm using Windows 10 64 bit

Setting the video output to OpenGL instead of Automatic fixed that problem for me. That is with Win10 v. 20H2, Nvidia quadro k5000 card, VLC v. 3.0.11, and a plain HD ProRes 422 file.
It's under under Tools > Preferences, Video tab : Output. There are 2 OpenGL entries, and both work. The "Direct3D9" entry also works.

I am currently using 3.0.17.4 (Windows 10 Pro, 64-bit) and a few weeks ago the first ProRes 444 files started to make problems while using the VLC player.
I am no longer able to see the content (I can only hear it). Right now, there is hardly any ProRes 422 or 444 file left that I can play probably with the VLC player.
I already tried to change the suggested Output with no improvement.
Help please! I'm happy for any suggestion!

Please open Tools -> Messages (set Verbosity to 2)
before you start the playback, and then paste the
full resulting log here or on Pastebin.com if it's too long.
Also upload a
short sample of your
original problematic file to Zippyshare.com or to WeTransfer.com and then post the link to the file here.

If needed cut it with DGsplit and read here about how to do it:
https://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.ph ... 35#p193335
200 MB max should be enough.

I am also having trouble watching videos of MOV Prores 4444 Alpha.
Sound plays but no picture.
The workaround doesn't help me.

I have Windows 10 installed. Version 10.0.19044 / Build 19044

The reason is found. There is no audio track. In more detail

I went back to the old version VLC Player 3.0.16
