After trying hours i cannot fix the problem. I have still dropouts of sounds.

Main Problem: Error: main warning: playback way too early (-141928): playing silence

To early and than silience? Do you know the problem? Possible solitions?

Hi, it can happen with packet loss. Are you running over wi-fi ?

No WiFi, GigaBit over ETHERNET - cable

We are experiencing the same issue and it does not seem to matter if the laptop is connected to the LAN via wi-fi or Ethernet cable. We are endeavouring to use RTSP streaming from a Ubiquiti Networks IP camera. Caching settings have been increased so the problem is not as extensive as with the default settings; however, audio dropouts of up to two seconds are not uncommon, e.g., (-1943702 us). These dropouts negatively affect choir singing and sermons. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Installed the Anycam.iO application for comparison to the VLC Media Player. Audio and video work perfectly except that CPU and memory usage usually exceed 70 percent. When opening the OBS Studio application in addition to VLC , CPU usage goes to 100 percent and audio and video begins to clip. When using OBS Studio in combination with VLC Media Play CPU usage runs 13 to 17 percent. So, no solution found thus far, save to say it appears the the audio dropout issue seems to be associated with the VLC Medial Player. For what it's worth.

CPU usage < 10%
free memory space = enough

A colleague installed VLC Medial Player on two separate devices. Audio dropouts occurred but not simultaneously. As a temporary solution we have installed PotPlayer, and the audio dropouts no longer happen. PotPlayer is not perfect either, as the audio has a lot of background noise - something that VLC did not have.

It happen all the times. I have the problem only with the PC there I use the digital output (SPDIF Audio digital optical out)
