VLC has taken over my Zip files. In Explorer they were shown as VLC files, and when clicked VLC opened, plus when I download a Zip such as a new program VLC opened and tried to play it. It prevented my Zip opening apps from working. I achieved a small improvement by replacing the VLC icon with another (a tree, as I could not remember or find the icon which Zips use) which has stopped VLC from opening, but still prevents Zips launching.
I have Windows 10 with updates, excluding October as it has not arrived yet.
Can someone help me to regain control of my Zips please?
