Hi,

It's difficult to understand "what" is not working. You mean you have no sound in VLC, or no sound at all ? or that you can't change the volume ?
What did you try ? What is your operating system ? What is your sound setup ?

Hi,

I doubt no one will answer if you ask "I have trouble, whats is the solution" sort of question. Open a VLC, press Ctrl+M (or Tools-->Messages), set verbosity to 2(debug) and start media, then save and post the logs.

To help you, we need messages, to completely understand what your problems is.
To fix this, please be sure before you start the playback to:
  1. Open: Tools -> Messages.
  2. Set Verbosity to 2
  3. Start playback to reproduce your issue
  4. Save text in a file or copy into clipboard
  5. Then paste the full resulting log here between [code]and[/code] (or use Pastebin.com if it's too long)
Also don't forget to name your Operating System and provide the VLC media player version.

Does your PC have an Intel processor and do you have Windows 10 version 1809 installed? If so, you might be affected by this issue documented on the Microsoft Answers site.

To check the version of Windows 10 installed on your machine hit Windows key + R to open the Run command, type: winver and hit Enter.
