Hi everyone,

Thanks in advance if you could help with this. I'm looking to open in a maximized window, like this:

Here's what happens when I open a video:

Is there a setting needed to allow VLC to open in a maximized window?

Windows 10 - VLC 3.0.4

Thank you

Hi,

You can disable "resize interface to video size" in "tool > preference > interface".
when open vlc it should restore its last window position/size

Lol thanks it's not like we all don't know that. I should have stated "launch VLC maximized" for those mad lads

Yeah it's actually disabled and it continues to open in a smaller window, so I guess every time you login to windows you have to maximize the window until your session restarts.

So there isn't a permanent solution to this?
