Unable to play any m3u8 files without constant buffering and skips with new stream parts.

m3u8 are just text files coded in UTF-8 format. They're not playable as such and just act as an index to where the mp3 or mp4 files are located. See this Lifewire article for more info.

Do you have an example URL ? It seems like the files it points to are not properly encoded.
