2.2.x raises hidden taskbar on loop

Any way around this?

I have my taskbar set to auto hide in Windows, but VLC raises this taskbar every time the video loops.

I know 3.x has a setting for this, but 2.x doesn't seem to have it.

Workaround here seems to be to turn off all notifications in Windows 10.
