defaulting VLC to use chromecast (audio) renderer on startup

Hi Gang,

VLC have done a great job on the chrome cast integration, although I have one issue.

I need to configure VLC to default to use my Chromecast output renderer (audio) every time it launches.

Currently, regardless of previous section of the Chromecast renderer, it falls back to my "default windows audio device" on start up.

If it's not possible to configure in the program permanently, I'm happy to use command line arguments to run the program to achieve this.

[VERSION 3.0.3]

Please advise!

Thanks

So far, this is not doable, sorry. I'll think about it for the future.

This is a feature i'd like also. VLC is installed on my machine for the only purpose of streaming local content to my Chromecast. I have to manually change the renderer each time I want to use it. Would be nice to be able to set it as default. Thank you for your awesome work.
