Ventari 3.0.3 Update and Video Pixelation

System: Windows 7 64 OS with 16 GB RAM and onboard video
Monitor: 24 inch Asus
Video connection: HDMI
I updated to the Ventari release 3.0.3 late last week and since then, for any video I play (mostly mp4, but I play a variety of formats) for the first several seconds of a newly played video I get a pixelation where one color (magenta, yellow, green) wash out the screen and then there seems to be an adjustment and things clear up and I get decent video. Happens when I skip ahead or back within the video as well. This seems to have started with the Ventari update. I didn't experience it before then. Is anyone else experiencing it? I'm thinking about just going back to the prior version, which seemed to work fine.
Thanks,
Jim

I noticed the same problem after upgrading to v3.0.3. Thank you. That fixed it for me on my circa-2009 Lenovo laptop.

What is your GPU? What is your driver version?

I'm also having this problem on Windows 10 with latest AMD drivers for FirePro W5100. I tried disabling the hardware decoding and other options, restarting VLC, restarting the PC, still pixellation during playback of an MKV file. But it plays just fine in Windows 10 video player.

Hi, I got similar problems and they were solved by activating and deactivating the "fast seek" option in tool > preference > input/codecs couple of times. So now I use the fast seek as it turned on and I have no artifacts in any format or whatever. It really worth a try.

Thank you.
Automatic Hardware Decoding ON and Fast Seek turned off.
Both MP4 and MKV videos now casting smoothly.

OOps.
Spoke too soon.
Some MKVs now cast smoothly. Others still pixellating.
Back to the drawing board.
