Resizing Issue

When stopping video playback while in full-screen by pressing 'S' VLC will go to a very large or 'full-screen' sized window rather than it's original size.

I've noticed this in the last 2 versions, 3.0.0 and now 3.0.1.

I've tried disabling full-screen optimizations in vlc.exe properties>compatibility and unchecking resize to fit video in VLC's preferences but neither works.

Thanks.

I have the same issue, and so far hadn't found an answer.

The Windows 10 FCU changed the way full-screen works. This created issues with gaming and any other full-screen programs.

As far as I understand it exclusive full-screen apps now behave more like they're running in a borderless full-screen mode which may explain why VLC thinks a full-screen sized window is correct.

I don't know for sure, I'm just speculating.

It wouldn't be in my case, since I have Windows 7.

Ah thanks. So has that ticket been re-opened?

lol, I swore I wouldn't change from Windows 7 but the speed and convenience of Win 10 finally made me cave.

Doesn't help at all. Whenever I try playing a new video, the problem is still there.

Looks like this issue was solved in 3.0.2. Could somebody confirm this?
