Problems and bugs in VLC 3.0.1 Vertina

Hello.

I wanted to ask for a solution with several bugs that I'm having with my VLC player. Until recently, everything was fine, but when the new update came, I encountered a big deal of bugs that are really annoying. I tried resetting my preferences, but it didn't work, and I did manually remove the vlc folder in my AppData folder, and I have re-installed the program, but it updated anyway.

Here is the list of the bugs and their effects:
- No sidebar of volume control - in the previous versions there was this sidebar that you could control with mouse's wheel to control the volume of the video, but now it's gone. I don't know if I have unknowlingly turned that option off or if it was removed from the new version.
- Unable to change the set volume - in Preferrences/Sound there is this bar of volume setting that if changed would automatically apply to other videos, but now this bar is grey and you can't change the original setting of 100%.
- Turning off Full-screen results in stretching the video window - this causes the video, when turning off the Full-screen, to be stretched beyond the limits of your screen, no matter what setting of video you have made. It doesn't matter if the video is 720p (1280x720) or 1080p, it will still be stretched outside of its normal size or boundaries of your monitor.

I will very much appreciate any tips or help in fighting those annoyances.

#1 it's there for me in fullscreen
#2 it depends on the audio output you select. On my computer it's available for DirectX audio output and WaveOut audio output
#3 Normally we recover the top-left position of when you entered fullscreen

#1 I tried updating VLC again to but still the problem remains, even now in the version 2.8 the sidebar and the lower bar with the time of the video are gone.
#2 I haven't tried that one, thanks for the tip.
#3 Whenever a new video is played I still get the same problem.

Do you have any adice or tips I could use to fix those problems?
