Problems with IPTV

Hi alltogether,

I'm using VLC 3.01 64 bit with a rager large m3u list of iptv channels.
Unfortunately I Encounter a lot of Problems, maybe anyone here has help or a solution?

1. a lot of Errors when reading the m3u list, even a stop reading the list if too many Errors happen, where every Headline or non active stream is an error like sky bundedliga2 and following, when not active.

2. a lot of streams have missing Audio streams

3. bad Decoding on sd-streams; only black/White on ati, with green flicker on nvidea


Has anybody had similar Problems? i have them on different PCs.

No! I use IPTV also, no problem at all.

Try also SMplayer or MPC-HC to test your provider. I think the problem is the source, not the player.

Hi,
on my Systems the Errors occur only on vlc! on a dell notbook with i7, om a acer with i3, on a custom built pc with amd.
on all Systems the same streams that are not working with vlc work well with smplayer, so it must be vlc, mustn't it?

For us to take a look we at least need your logs, and to be fair, having access to the playlist would also help (if you don't want to share it publicly feel free to upload it to streams.videolan.org/upload or send it to us via email)

how do i create/Access logfiles? i always have the error Pop up Screen, but have not found the logfile

Tools -> messages -> set verbosity to 2, and then start the playback

till the first errows are shown ist easyly a few hundred lines, when the Decoder for mpeg1/2 is called

My suggestion,

Start VLC
Push STOP
Set Log to 2 ( Tools / Messages / Verbosity=2 )
Push PLAY
Wait
When you get errors, wait 60 seconds
Push STOP
Save as Log to file
Send

i coult repeat the Errors (only black/White Picture on sd-streams) with different iptv Providers.

it seems always to happen when the vlc intern mpeg1/2 Decoder is called

They NEED the file(s) give them a LINK TO FILE(S)... you can also use Google Drive, best choice for me... upload the file, make it PUBLIC with right mouse button and SHARE or GET URL... something like THIS.
