Keep crashing with ver. VLC 0.8.2

Postby dunkelug » 23 Nov 2005 05:35

Hi peeps.. cant figure out whats wrong.. I downloaded vlc player version VLC 0.8.2, it was working fine. was right in the middle of a movie and it crashed, and now I am unable to even open the program back up. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it, opened it up... and it immediately crashes and puts up one of the "would you like to report this crash" message. any clues what I may do? thanx dunk

Oh...sry ;) thx a lot for reply it worked fine :D

Now I accidently saw a Button in the Startmenue-Folder called 'Reset VLC defaults and quit' with the target '~vlcdir~\vlc.exe --reset-config --reset-plugins-cache --save-config vlc:quit '
Does this one the same as deleting the config file or is there a difference?

Btw. Sry for bad english :/
