VLC's "Recent" List

When I right-click the VLC icon in my taskbar I get a list of recently played videos. I just noticed this, and there are hundreds of videos. VLC provides the option of removing them but only "one-by-one".
I would like to remove them all at once but cannot find where this list is stored. Can you help me?

Regarding the above post, I am using VLC version 2.2.6 on a Windows 10 computer. I have searched thru my Users...folder and my Program Files (X86) folder but cannot find anything regarding recently played files.

This issue is RESOLVED. This is a process of the Windows 10 operating system and not of individual programs. The process is called "Jump Lists". To turn off jump lists in Windows 10:
1. Click on Start > Settings.
2. Click Personalization.
3. In the Personalization window, click Start in the left-hand menu.
4. Click the "Show recently opened items in Jump Lists on Start or the taskbar" toggle button so that it says Off.
Finished!
