VLC 3.0.0 Adjusting volume with scrollwheel.

Heya.

Not sure if its a bug or a new setting but adjusting volume with the scroll wheel is very slow, only accepting input once every second.
Given how precise the delay is (once a second) I'm guessing it's a setting somewhere, how can I disable it?

Using 64bit.

Thanks

Ah, found a thread.

This fix worked for me:
I "forced" the Audio device output (DirectX), now Volume control is responsive. I don't know if this is the real "trick", or only causality :-)

Also, now i can force a % to start from when VLC open up.

If you push volume over 100%, this is a known issue. Microsoft forbids driving volume over 100%, so VLC has to simulate this manually - before audio buffers. This incurs latency.

For volume below 100%, I have not seen that problem.
