Im having some problems with connecting to a dvd player over a network with vlc.

Its a noob question but i need it anyway

here's the adress where vlc should connect to

\\Computer2\k (is the pc adress vlc should connect to)

the adress browsing is dvd://

i tried all sorts of --please stay polite-- like dvd://Computer2\k

manually opening the file won't work

on my own computer if i do like dvd://k the thing will work perfectly, but what is the correct adres line over the network =]

any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Hmm.
Havent tried but might help...

Have you tried to map that network computers k-share to drive letter on your other computer in example to drive letter k and then use dvd://k ?

net use k: \\computer2\k will map that drive.
