Display time on stop/pause and forward only?

I'm wondering if it's possible to have VLC display the current movie time when the stop / pause is made.
I don't need to have the time on my screen for the full time, but when I pause the movie in full screen, it would be good to know what position it is directly, rather than looking at the control progress bar.
The same would be perfect to see the actual time when making foward / backward - at this moment I can see (in full screen) only the progress bar with the current frame position, but not the actual time.
