2.2.x Mouse Hide Patch?

There really NO POSSIBLE fix to apply to 2.2.x VLC to make mouse always hide (with 'F' key sometimes it does) under Windows 10 FALL UPDATE? WHY you don't fix this simple bug, since DEV_3.0/4.0 still does it?

Was just going to post something similar. 2.2.8 hasn't fixed the mouse pointer bug where it doesn't disappear in latest Windows 10 Fall update.

I understand. I can't understand why SMPlayer and MPC/HC didn't suffer of this bug.
ps. i'm a real supporter of VLC, i donate every year some $$ for Development, and i would like to keep on using VLC, since i consider the Best Player, still now. Hoping this "stupid" bug will be fixed soon. Thanks for all.

It's just not simple to apply the existing patch to 2.2, and thus nobody has taken the time to do so.
