VLC 64bit for Windows download missing on website?

I prefer the 64 bit version of VLC, however it seems that the official videolan.org website does not offer it to download (except for the manual download from the very slow FTP server).

Why is VLC hiding the most common version (I assume that >90% of all Windows PCs are running a 64bit Version of Windows)?

Furthermore this opens the door for freeloader who provide those packages easy findable via Google. Those unofficial versions usually do install additional software and other advertisement stuff.

Therefore please provide the Windows 64bit version of VLC on your website and let the user decide what version they prefer (64 or 32 bit).

It's already available, on the Windows page.

Ok, I finally found it, but it is very well hidden. The main problem is IMHO that there are two pages page1 and page2 which are nearly identically regarding their design and the big orange download button. The only real difference is the different drop-down list of the download button.

On the one page you can only get the 32bit version on the other you can get the 64bit version as well.

IMHO This is design is confusing and therefore improvable.
