This applies to both vlc and kmplayer.
The problem started with kmplayer and was the same with vlc. I used playlists to play a tv series. I setup the playlist and it will not play in order - it jumps about. This only happens one one machine using windows 8.
On a windows 10 machine there is no such problem.
It is not a big problem - just an irritation.
