VLC Windows 10 does not seem to work??

Hi there.

I have the latest edition of Windows 10, and the latest VLC media player. I have tried to stream ans copy my streaming videos that I have legitimately purchased through the Craftsy web site.

After reading many many many articles on using these features, I am unable to stream my videos to watch and/or download my streaming videos from the Craftsy website. I can however watch the videos from the Craftsy web pages.

Does VLC support streaming web pages from a site such as Craftsy? I would appreciate knowing. Maybe this is an exercise of futility and I should use VLC for other things.
I do get about a 18 byte file from trying. It cannot be opened and I am informed the file is possibly corrupted. I have changed many settings, according to the different articles I have read. I have deleted and re-installed the app. Reset it to its factory settings.

Could it be that the Craftsy website does not allow VLC to work, even though I have purchased the web classes?

Kind regards,

Have you succeeded with other web sites in VLC?

There may be a license issue the website enforces. For instance, when I copy a YouTube URL from a browser and use VLC to view it by pasting into 'advanced open,' or 'open network stream,' I usually am always successful. When I try to save a clip locally I'm almost always successful, EXCEPT when I try to save music, then I am almost never successful and the only things that save are very obscure or from very poor quality source.

Depending on what tool they use, a publisher can have a lot of control over their licensing. It sounds like you're really trying hard to solve this on your own, kudos.
