How to output to HDMI direct and continue to use PC

Postby PesoMemo » 21 Sep 2017 00:56

I can output a movie to HDMI and switch my audio there too, but what I would like to do is continue to use my PC as usual while the movie plays in the BG to the TV directly to the HDMI so I can still develop/read mail etc while the movie plays without affecting the TV.

Any configuration parameters that will allow me to do that? If not, can I easily move this post to the wishlist category?

TIA, Bill

Yes, split the desktop in 2 screens, one normal, one for the HDMI and put VLC on the second screen
