Problem playing youtube streams

When I try to play a youtube stream, the thumbnail of the live stream loads, and before loads a image of the live video, but this image didnt change. Screenshot:

Hello Lypzeg,
Did you try the nightly build 3.0.x VLC version? I wasn't able to play youtube streams in 2.x.x. neither. If you try in 3.0.x and it stil doesn't work, please provide the messages (Tools > Message) or CTRL+M. If possible, provide the youtube URL aswell.
