is there a plugin that automatically sets VLC to play a SBS 3D video correct as 2D?

it´s easy to do with a few steps but why is there no filter/plugin that does that automatically with a push of a button?

if there is none i may code one. but i would like to know first if i am maybe just not lucky finding one.
this feature is so often asked for and there a tons of tutorials on the web. so i don´t understand whyt nobody coded this feature yet.

i just tried kmplayer an that one has an option to show 3D SBS videos as 2D.
