Cursor problem (always loading) in VLC Media Player

Hello Community,
I have had a strange occurence for a couple days now in VLC Media Player. If I have it running and I have Firefox open and then switch from Firefox to VLC media Player, there is always that loading circle on my cursor. It disappears after 5-10 seconds, but reappears every time again if I get VLC Media Player to the foreground. There is nothing wrong with the video, no lag or something, but I find it a bit irritating.

I have no idea where this came from. I had VLC Media Player up-to-date long before this occurred. One thing I changed recently is that I disabled a few of my autostart programs in Task Manager that I don't need. The list looks now as follows, but I have no clue if this is the reason for this loading cursor.

I know it's a very specific problem, but maybe somebody has an idea to solve it. Thanks for reading. Oh yeah I have Windows 10.
