How do I download the windows version without having to learn how to compile it from source code?
Goto videolan.org - there you will find the most common version compiled for your OS
On https://get.videolan.org/vlc/ you will find older versions and a 64-bit version
On http://nightly.videolan.org/ you will find beta versions (2.2.5 and 3.0.0)
