Hello,
I know there are muliple topics about 4K video stutter / lag, but my situation is a bit different.
I'm trying to play a big buck bunny video (4K, Quad-Full-HD (3840x2160)@30 FPS, downloaded from http://bbb3d.renderfarming.net/download.html)
Both VLC Media Player and for testing purposes Media Player classic cause lag / sluggish video display. Whereas Windows Media Player is playing the video without any problems it seems.
Considering all these 4k video topics, I have messed with HW acceleration and various other options but still no luck.
Seeing that WMP can play the video without any problem, I'm convinced that my PC is sufficient hardware-wise. So what am i missing?
P.S. Tried VLC 2.2.4 / VLC 3.0 both x86 and x64.
