Hello, is there a way to have a m3u/8 playlist stream the .ts link continuously loop without using the loop button in VLC? Thx
The below example does not work;
#EXTM3U
#EXT-X-MEDIA-SEQUENCE:1
#EXT-X-DISCONTINUITY-SEQUENCE:1
#EXT-X-DISCONTINUITY
#EXTINF:-1

Bump. I want to know this too.
The only solution is to loop 1 track, however this way the video stutters ever few seconds. Is there a way to loop 1 track more smoothly without stutters, that would solve the problem for me as well.

You don't need HLS to play MPEG-TS continuously. VLC has supported MPEG-TS over HTTP for longer than HLS existed.
Just open the MPEG-TS stream URL directly.

Hello, I can turn on the continuous play button on VLC but I am looking for continuous play on devices that don't have the continuous playing of the .ts button, like the Roku. So I am trying to find someone that knows how to modify the m3u8 file acordingly. Thank you

Per a YT video "how to stream dvd on roku" using Windows 7 no miracast it shows how to stream local video ts streams to Roku from vlc. It streams any file types like MVK FLV AVI from local PC to a Roku.
