Hi, I am a very new member with very limited knowledge about computers generally so please excuse my ignorance.
I am running windows 7 and have downloaded VLC 2.2.4. I want to add subtitles to a Danish tv series. A scroll through "Google" tells me I need to download "VLSubs".However on my VLC page I found "tools" and from that I went to "plugins & extensions and up came "VLSubs 0.9.13 as an active extension. I therefore assumed that it is already part of my VLC download and ran an episode of the tv series.I then went to "view" and hit "subtitles" then "hash". Within a few seconds I got a message "extension VLSub does not respond do you want to kill it".
I have two questions please; firstly does my version of VLC have VLSubs already loaded or do I need to download this.
Secondly assuming it is pre-loaded why is it not working. Should anyone be able to help may I impose an idiots explanation please. thanks. :?:
