VLC in zip for 64 bits

Hello,
I have searched in the site and in the forum but haven't found why there is not zip file for the 64 bits versions: is it due to a technical issue?
I'm interesting in because i'm trying to use VLC on my new PC W10 64 bits and I prefer portable version then installer. Furthermore as "small" developper I like also to understand
