Indexing DLNA/UPNP server

Postby victor50 » 31 Jul 2016 15:19

When connecting to my Synology NAS via UPNP it indexes (of course) the contents. This takes a lot of time with near 100% utilzation on my i5 (now already about 15 min.) When looking at the log on the NAS (only on for a short time) I see it works with a lot of individual queries. Not very efficient. Then of course it is already indexed on the NAS. There is no way to stop it without losing all results so far or to set what should be indexed. There is no statusbar just a bit of flashing.
