No .flv in Firefox application list....

I rarely run into a video file downloaded from the internet, which cannot be viewed with vlc, while the sound is working.

I am using Firefox and looking through the settings, in the "Applications" I find all the playable VLC Media files listed, starting from .3G2 files to the other end .wvx files.

But I do NOT see .flv files listed.... ??????

Can you clear that up for me? And.... Thank You, for by far the best player available..
