VLC 3.0.0 lua interface

Has the lua configuration setting changed in version 3.0?
This works in 2.2.2.
lua debug: Found lua interface script: C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\lua\intf\telnet.luac
lua debug: Setting config variable: config={telnet=host={'127.0.0.1:4212',password='******'}}
lua error: Error while parsing "lua-config".
This works in 2.2.2.
