I'm having trouble making VLC player play a Region A [US] blu ray movie. After installing the KEYDB.cfg file and replacing the libaacs.dll file, I can now watch blu rays but only Region B.
Does anyone know how to make VLC play Region free blu rays?
Thanks

Did you try VLC bluray region code settings?
(1) Select "Tools" - "Preferences".
(2) Select "Show settings" to "ALL".
(3) Select "Input/Codecs" - "Access modules" - "Blu-ray".
(4) Select a "Region code".
(5) Press the "Save" button.

Maybe your Blu-ray drive is region coded. Check your drive manual. Note that you may not be allowed to change many times.

Why doesn't someone say it has to go in "roaming" in App Data. You can't just put it in app data folder; there are several folders in there. However, when you type %appdata%, it does take you to "roaming". Then it worked for me. Just a little technicality to mention.
