Navigation features don't show

Postby SunHiker » 25 Apr 2016 03:07

I have some Australian DVDs that I refer to so frequently that I decided to simply copy their files onto a hard drive for easy access. Windows Media Player knows how to play these VOB files, but VLC seems not to; there is no "title menu" button in VLC, and the on-screen clickable bottom navigation features of these files do not even show in VLC. This is going to be a major problem if I am forced to go to Windows 10, where Windows Media Player doesn't work at all on VOB files. Why does VLC not have a title-menu button?

I also have a DVD with this menu problem. Menu works on Windows Media Player. But it doesn't work on VLC and Media Player Classic. The title is "Tina Turner Live in Amsterdam". Fortunately I can play the DVD by bypassing the menu. Note that it's not hard disk related. Even optical disk doesn't work.
